RN – Complex Care
Graduate from an approved school of nursing with 2 year’s nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must hold current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia.
Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with residents and family members, as well as with all members of the care team.
Ability to organize work and set priorities.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
RN – Hospice
Graduate from an approved school of nursing with 2 year’s nursing experience.
Must hold current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia.
Prefer previous experience in Palliative Care.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with patients and family members, as well as with all members of the care team.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Ability to operate related equipment and to maintain skill levels in areas such as pain-control and treatments.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
LPN - Hospice
Graduate from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and/or holds a valid license with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with patients and family members, as well as with all members of the care team.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Ability to operate related equipment and to maintain skill levels in areas such as pain-control and symptom management.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Building Service Worker – Environmental Services
Graduate of a recognized Building Services Worker Program and Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with other staff, residents and visitors.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to organize work and set priorities.
Ability to perform and knowledge of procedures regarding a variety of light and heavy duty cleaning duties, applying floor finish and polishing floors, as well as, collecting and disposing of garbage and recycling.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as room setups and office relocations.
Ability to carry out the duties of the position and to operate related equipment and maintain work area.
Cook I – Nutrition and Food Services
Graduate of a recognized cooking program in quantity cooking at the institutional level.
