St. Michael’s Centre is a registered non-profit society governed by a Board of Directors. This policy board has three responsibilities: establish both governance and operational policies; financial oversight; and work with the Executive Director.

The volunteer board is comprised of 3 appointments from each denomination ~ Anglican, Catholic, and United Church; the President of the Auxiliary, a representative from the Burnaby Hospice Society and 3 members of the public.

We are very proud of our 128-bed, complex care facility where the comfort and care of the residents is paramount and where our management and staff work to create a homey atmosphere. Together we are truly “family”.

Our 16-bed hospice provides support and palliative care for patients and their families during their final days.

The Board of Directors will continue to support the Executive Director and staff to provide respectful service to the Community.
